Riches that Truly Count

Jesus, the son of God gave an example of what it means to honor Him. In the book of Luke chapter 14: 12-13 it states...Then Jesus said to his host, " When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be BLESSED!!!. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous. This is what God requires from his followers, those that profess to honor him. You see what God is saying is that we should not lay treasures here on earth where they will vanish as fast as they came. If we give what we have to those that can repay us then we are not really giving, we are only lending, and we will be repaid by them. But when we open our hearts to share what we have with those that have a real need, the helpless, the poor, then we honor our God. We profess our faith through our actions. The bible also states that a good tree is easy to be recognized because of the fruit it yeilds. In other words if you are good, you will show good deeds. A good tree cannot yield rotten fruit. Jesus also said... "by their fruits ye shall know them". A person who loves God is easily recognized. He shows no greed. He shares what he has with those who are lacking. Our world is filled with people who are only interested in satifiying their personal needs; never do they consider to help those who have a real need. Some people are filled with greed, all they think of is how they will be able to out do the "Jones'" they want to recieve praise from men, and don't take into account what is approved by God. They ignore that man will never be satisfied with earthly gains. Riches will quikly vanish, but what never fades is what comes from the love He has placed in our hearts. What better way to become rich, a richness of the soul. This is what really matters. What makes us happy is to save treasures in heaven, where they will never fade away. An eternal satisfaction of the spirit. No one can draw from your heavenly account, because God is the keeper of what we have sown. Surely He repays us when we share. When we do His will. Everything here on earth will disappear one day. Wealth will not bring satisfacton. True satisfaction can only come from helping others, sharing what He has given us with those who show a real need. People that honor God love to do what is right, they show no self-indulgence, they love humanity and God, and it shows through their unselfish actions. If we want to be truly happy we should help the meak. God will give us the crown of eternal life when we obey and honor his command to LOVE. For the ESSENCE of God is LOVE. He said of His commandments....THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE!!!!! LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF !!!
This is true faith and by it you will be truly RICH, HAPPY, and BLESSED !!! GOD LOVES YOU and "ALL" HUMANITY !!! I CARE... BECAUSE HE CARED FOR ME FIRST !!!! I LOVE GOD AND "ALL" MANKIND !!!
