Not of this World

God wants us to live a happy life!!! So He sent his son Jesus to show us the way to being completely free of sin. Jesus lived a life of selflessness; he gave what He had to those who needed it most. He healed the sick, gave life to the dead, and gave hope to the hopeless. Our Lord, a King, not only King, but "King of Kings", did not come to earth with a spirit of arrogance. Yes, He deserved to be praised by all men, yet He did not come to get glory from men, but came in humility to show us how the kingdom of heaven could be won. Through His acts of self-sacrifice Jesus lived as He wanted us to live. Luke 9:58 says...Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." You see the Son of God knew this world had nothing to offer him. He did not have a home here on earth; he held all material wealth as worthless. Everything we can attain here will be left behind. The treasures that matter can only be obtained by living a life that honors him. We have to admit we are not of this world, because we are mortals, here only for a short time. This should not make us afraid, but we should rejoice because Jesus said in John 14:2...In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. He came to show us the way to living eternally with Him. He has a place prepared for us, you and me, a home in heaven. Where we will live happily through all of eternity. We must admit we will not live eternally here on earth. Someday we will leave this world, and will have to face OUR MAKER and give account for all we have done. But there is hope...He loves us so much...soooo, soooo...much !!!!!
Jesus also said these words.. Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?" And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness." He continued to say..in Matthew 7:24-29
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a ROCK. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
Jesus knows we are sometimes weak, he knows our inner most thoughts, we are human, but we are victorious through Him...Romans 8:37 says...in all these things we are MORE THAN CONQUERERS through HIM who loved us. He loves us and wants to give us complete happiness; not only will we be happy in the after life that follows this one, but we can be completely HAPPY HERE ON EARTH. Yes, it is possible to attain happiness here on earth !!! God will help us overcome any and every addiction we may have. With his help we are able to live free of sin. No, we are not perfect, but he knows we want to do what is right. He knows our hearts, and forgives our sins....

When you ask Christ to live in your heart he will give you an inner peace that no one or nothing can bring. You see the world offers you wealth, drugs, sex, and many other addictions, but my God offers true wealth.
AN EVERLASTING HAPPINESS!!!!!

The things this world offers ONLY bring temporary satisfaction, and leave a bitter taste behind.

This is why He said these words...
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.... ABHOR WHAT IS EVIL. Cling to what is good." Romans 12:2, 9

We are not of this world, so we must not cling on to what it (the world) offers us. Everything the world gives is false, a lie, a substitute to real happiness. You see happiness cannot be attained from external means, it can only be attained through the renewing of our hearts and minds.

So, you say it is impossible to change. Well, for God it is not. He can help rid all sin and guilt from your heart. Through His blood we are made clean. Ephesians 1:7

You may ask how can I ask God for help????

I'll show you how to ask God for Help....Pray these words with all your heart...

Father God, I have heard of your love, and of how you sent your son Jesus to deliver those that were bound by sin...I am here because I need your help to live a Godly Life. I want to have that peace in my heart that only you can give. Father, you know me and what I have been struggling with..I am not happy living in sin..Please Father God, help me to overcome this sin that has kept me bound for many years. I know you are God, you are All POWERFUl and EVER Merciful. Your word says if we ask believeing we would recieve. I believe in you and your power. Now Lord Jesus come to my aid and help me please. It is that simple...AND YOU KNOW WHAT...HE HAS MADE YOU CLEAN...You will now be able to experince HIS PEACE !!!! NOT like the world offers though wealth and material gain, or worthless sin, but a richness of the HEART AND MIND !!! You are a CHILD OF THE KING OF KING!!!! HE LOVES YOU !!!! and when someone comes to God, His word says all of heaven rejoices. You see to God you are worth more than "all" the treasures this world offers. You are PRICELESS, nothing on earth can copmpare to what YOU ARE WORTH !!! HE Loves You, and I do too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)
